We bike at the beach all night in summer and We are less than impressed with these. Yes they have good battery life and are easy to install but the motion detection is shakey on one of the lights and you have to fiddle with the battery cover to make a good connection. In addition to that, the lights don’t illuminate the tires as pictured. You get one blob of light on the wheel regardless of how fast you pedal. We even tried down a steep hill and didn’t get the lit up effect we wanted. We are happier with the string lights that wrap around the spokes. They are harder to attach but they illuminate the entire tire all the way around giving you the effects pictured here. We are bummed with this product because If they worked as pictured they would be so much better to use. I would say these can’t provide the lights promised.
