When I initially installed the included batteries I received a flash with both devices. Good. Easy to mount on spokes. Good. However, I couldn't seem to turn them on. Bad. These are so much fun! We purchased two sets (one for each wheel) for birthday gifts for my son and a friend. They installed in minutes and are easily activated with motion! They turn off automatically which is key for an 6 and 8 year old! The images change - I think from the speed of bike which is super cool. Only downside is that the kids can't see them while they are riding, so I'm left taking video after video of them riding up and down the driveway (LOL). Great for kids! Great for a gift!

If you want these for an adult riding FAST around town and don't really care if the pattern is very visible then great. If you want them for kids bikes for riding around a campground or neighborhood at normal kid speeds to show off, then you would be better off getting lights that didn't flash or change patterns. These work and look exactly like the photos. 1 AAA battery each included. Easy 2 minute install once you realize which way the screw has to go. Keep in mind they are not visible in the day, and to see the full pattern you must be really moving on your bike, otherwise it's less than the full circle pattern. Regardless, it is a great product and my son was thrilled. Mounting hardware is plastic so do not over tighten.

I put these lights on the wheels of my wheelchair & my son & I think they`re pretty cool. The only problems are sometimes I have to tap them to get them to light up, & the instructions that came with them are`nt very easy to read so I recomend that if you`re planning on buying these lights too get the instructions from Ebay instead.

When I first put them on my bicycle nothing happened. I grabbed some batteries from the house and lights auto blinked to let me know they were active. I rode it around then watched my GF ride it. Really cool. It's gonna really help out on my beach vacation. 100% satisfied !

Product is dope but not even a month of use it stopped working. One day the lights stood on and I couldn’t turn it off. Not even taking the battery out. And it’s hard to install also.

I lead night rides and this gives me a little more visibility and are also fun. My spokes are a little wider that the light would allow so I just used zip ties and it works great.

Since this is a gift for Christmas for a grandson I have not had a chance to see how it works. It hasn't been installed as of yet.

These were super easy to install and make amazing patterns. The battery life is slightly better than what I expected.The problem is sometimes, while I am riding on smooth pavement, the lights turn off. As if they stop detecting movement. Deliberately hitting a manhole will sometimes get them started again but this is annoying, since I use the lights as part of safety features to cycle in the evening.Overall satisfied, though I might eventually hack it to bypass the motion detector.

We have had these for 3 months and they no longer work. When I unscrew the top, the lights briefly come on but even with a replacement battery, they won't work. So disappointed!

It goes on really easy, works well, the kids love it. Haven't had to replace the batteries it came with yet, but it's only been about a week and a half. Would buy again, bright colors, it just works. I wasn't sure if the kids would go fast enough to trigger it, but it triggers as soon as they start moving. Easy enough for my five year old to figure it out. Seems durable so far, and the kids haven't been easy on it.

There are a lot of inexpensive bike lights available on Ebay from a variety of sellers with somewhat off-kilter English, and I've tried several; the reason to buy from DAWAY is that their customer service is top-notch. This device was easy to install and produced the colored patterns as desired. I bought this for my 8 year old for a bike the night event our community held. He thought it was cool and so did others that saw it. As others have mentioned you do have to be moving a bit to see the full pattern display but the lights were bright and noticeable at any speed. If we rode more at night I would buy a second one so he could have them on both wheels and at the price I paid I may still do that.

Loved these until they were stolen the first night I had to lock my bike up on the street. Word to the wise, either remove them daily (hassle) or maybe glue the screws in or something, was so disappointed to see this gone. Neither my headlight or tail light was stolen . just these :(

Makes my bike visible during the dusk hours when lots of drivers are returning home and may be tired. Gives me a feeling of safety that I will be seen by cross traffic. Always important to be careful of automobiles but this at least calls some attention so you might be seen.

Even though this takes 2 AA batteries, seems to run out of juice pretty quickly.maybe it's because if how many LEDs are in there. The motion detection works about 70% of the time. I wish there were a way to switch it on so I'm not constantly having to worry if it's lit up or not (for safety when riding in the city at night).
