I needed a new pressure gauge for my pool filter. Those sold by pool manufacturers are cheap and difficult to read. After looking around a bit I found that this is almost what I need. I say "almost" because that's what I use in the pool - the pressure ranges from 10 to 30psi. Rarely more. Unfortunately, the scale of this item is 0 to 100, which means the usable portion of the scale is tiny for my application. I wish this company would make the exact same item with a pool friendly scale, say 0 to 40psi. Then I would rate this as a good buy. Installation was a breeze - some teflon tape and a few twists. The stainless steel case is huge and the dial can be read from across the room. For the price it makes a very high quality and reliable impression. The fact that it's lead-free (designed for use with potable water) gives me peace of mind that it won't add any weird metals to my pool. come back and share.
