I've been using these for about 2 months since moving to a new location. I don't understand why some people say they can't fit 1 inch thick sponges. They work fine. They are made from durable plastic and this combined with the fact that the sponge is very spongy makes it very easy to install a sponge of this size - you just slide the sponge into the holder. I use Jokari with both O-cel-o No Scratch Scrub Sponge 6-Count (pack of 2) and Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge, 526, 6 sponges. There are no problems landing, the suction cups work well. I have a white porcelain sink. First clean the area where you will stick them. Do not wet the suction cup and make sure the target area you want to attach it to is also dry. Mine has never come loose in the 2 months I've had it running. I love that you're getting a pair of these. You can use one for dishwashing sponge and one for dishwashing sponge. Very good, economical, minimal product. highlighted.
