Nice! - Window films

I have a kitchen window which is directly behind the work station which I use for cooking. With 4 children this meant that food splashes would get on the blinds or curtains on that window. Tired of the clutter, I decided to use this film to close the window so my kitchen still gets natural light, but I don't have to worry about dirty blinds. My window I love this movie! I followed the instructions exactly. My window was properly cleaned and prepared and I measured it many times before trimming it. It turned out fantastic, and honestly it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. With outside temperatures ranging from -20 to over 100 degrees here in Nebraska, the film stayed in place for almost a year. I scrubbed it gently with a damp sponge and it still looks fantastic. It's like a real stained glass window! It adds so much color and light to my kitchen instead of boring mini blinds that just get dusty and dirty. I'm so glad I took a chance and bought this! TRANSPARENCY INFO: I am using this in a ground level kitchen window. I CANNOT see through this window, whether it's light/dark inside or outside. The light penetrates very well but you can't see anything clearly except sometimes blurry general shapes, it all depends on the light levels inside AND outside. At night, when it's dark outside and the lights are on inside, people outside CAN see in through the window, really just moving figures in the distance, but can see details by literally FACING THE WINDOW. From inside, it's hard to tell if anyone is outside FACE THE WINDOW (unless they're moving, which depends on the light conditions). This means that with the right lighting, someone can look into your home through that window, but from inside, just a few feet from the window, you can't see the person outside. (That doesn't stop me from raiding the fridge in my panties) **UPDATE** It's been hanging on my window for 2 years now and it still looks amazing!
