Review on Ultimate Basketball πŸ‘– Performance Set: Athletic Essentials Shorts by Joshua Carter

Too cheap, buy a pair for the same price.

These shorts are basically an insult to the word 'active'. Look I'm a big guy so I wanted to buy these as pajama bottoms and loungewear but they can't even serve that purpose. Active Wear Sin #1: How am I supposed to carry anything like my phone, keys or wallet when those bags are SO SMALL? See my photos for reference, but all of these shorts have pockets that are only about 3 inches deep after the bottom, allowing your phone to stick out while it's in your pocket. Whether you're sitting or lying down, say goodbye to this phone when it takes a tumble. Active wear and tear #2: They're too tight. Again, I'm a tall man, but I had to buy a size up from my usual size for them to fit. Gym shorts are meant to stretch and hold together, but they tore so easily as I sat and walked. I think someone who stretches regularly or goes to the gym will have an even harder time. Active Wear Sin #3: You're too thin to be considered sweatproof. It's basically underwear, but even my cheap roosters have thicker fabric. If the shorts don't rip on you first, they will most likely die in your washing machine well before they last a month. Final Verdict: Two of these shorts are useless after just a week. I have a pair of nice adidas track shorts that lasted me a year but they cost $25. Of course, if you manage to use all five shorts of the product I'm reviewing for at least 6 months, I'd be surprised. Let's do the math: 1+ year for $25 shorts with good pockets or 5 months for $32 with no amenities.

  • Great for a small home
