Use the frisbee instead!
I ordered this spoon for my 23 year old son with Down Syndrome who has very poor fine motor skills. This plate is too small for someone eating a person-sized portion. The black non-slip rubber base also came off in the dishwasher. It would also be helpful if the spoon would flow around the entire plate. I decided to use the frisbee as his "plate" and I loved the result. The frisbee is 2 inches taller and has a moderate scoop all around.
