I was skeptical because of the low price and some negative reviews but I love this gate and everyone who comes to see us! I had to send this link to several people because they want it at home. I have two large dogs and a 14 month old. These gates keep them where I want them to be. It's also easy to pass with one hand while holding the child in the other hand. When the gate is open, it swings out of the way, leaving a wide opening with no ground rails to trip over! This is one of my biggest complaints about other gates we've tried! The only negative was the installation. My husband said the directions were unclear and there were a few extra things that weren't even mentioned in the directions. I heard quite a bit of swearing during the installation, so I think they need to improve the instructions. However, once you get the hang of it, it's worth the effort.
