No shooting without it.

I'm used to the old Nikon high point pentaprisms (and the current line of professional bodies) when shooting professionally. However, my current hobby of photography does not justify the expense of professional bodies. However, I miss some features of the Professional Line, including the improved eyepieces. When I upgraded to the Z6 I was pleased to find this aftermarket eyepiece. I wasn't sure about the asymmetrical design but after using it on a 3 week trip abroad I can say I'm confident in it as opposed to the standard eyepiece. The viewfinder is superbly isolated, as you'd expect, and the cutout at the top ensures the sensor that switches between the viewfinder and the rear display works flawlessly. The only reason for a less than perfect result is the annoying fact that it has a random tendency to show up on the eyepiece. This is usually more likely to happen when I'm putting the camera in or out of my pocket, but it's also happened once or twice when it rubs/bounces against my body. It never fully popped out, but that's a bit concerning. Given the size of the eyepiece I'm not sure how you'll get over it, but for the price I think it's a fair deal if one pops up and gets lost every now and then.
