EDIT: Feel free to use the batteries provided but don't expect them to last more than a week (if that's the case). Brand new lithium batteries typically last 8 weeks before needing to be replaced. I was hoping for more but they burn for 8 hours every day so I'm quite happy for now. Features like flicker and varying brightness, among other things, will falter when the batteries die, but that doesn't bother me. I would buy them again :) First review: I bought two boxes yesterday and was able to install them this afternoon. I am so happy with these little candles! I picked these in particular from the millions others on Revain simply because they use CR2450 batteries, which have a lot more power than the CR2032 batteries used in other tealights I've looked at. I really don't want to be constantly changing batteries in 12 candles and the short battery life has been one of the main complaints from people considering CR2032 powered tea lights. I'll update the info once the batteries die so we can see how long it lasted. I also really like being able to turn them all on at once with one remote and set a timer for 6 hours on/18 hours off so I don't have to use that remote again. What I didn't expect (and which I'm very happy with) is that I could set each candle individually with different brightness levels and two flicker options (fast and slow) to enhance their natural look when they are grouped. I had to do this one at a time, turning around so the remote didn't touch all the candles, but the effect was worth it. (And after all that, I was happy to see that the settings I had set were still the same when turned back on the next night.) I've included a video so you can see how well they work in my discarded antiques are. I have a gas heater in my fireplace. This is a really great buy considering all of its useful features.
