I have to keep charging them even when not in use. This is a big disadvantage. Otherwise, the flickering candlelight looks very realistic. A friend thought they were real. Easy to charge. You simply have to recharge too often, so that they are often not available for spontaneous switching on. Must plan. The remote control makes it very convenient to turn on and off.

I bought these for two hanging candle holders I got for the patio. No need to worry about having to climb up to get to candlesticks or wax dripping everywhere. The remote control is an added plus. They glow softly and look like real candles thanks to the flicker function. They're more for ambient lighting than task lighting, so don't help much when you need a lot of light, especially in the evenings.

I love these rechargeable candles! With no batteries to replace, they are economical and convenient. They are brighter than others I've had and create a very tranquil atmosphere. We keep a set in the living room, bedroom and on the mantel and turn it on every night. I would give them 5 stars but they need frequent charging and even the slow flickering is a bit fast. These candles don't glow softly, but bright yellow. Flicker mode isn't really a smooth flicker, more like the flickering of a candle, while fast flicker mode is just a strobe. I liked the idea but the candle is poorly made (we get what we pay for) and the battery drains very quickly. EDIT: Feel free to use the batteries provided but don't expect them to last more than a week (if that's the case). Brand new lithium batteries typically last 8 weeks before needing to be replaced.
