They are very light. Went to them today and my 5 year old grandson broke 2 forks trying to eat a sliced hot dog. Anyone who writes that they are durable and strong should get money. I always use the wonderful Costco Kirkland brand, but they only sell in sets and I always have extra spoons to spare. I bought these to try and straighten plastic utensils. I would send them back but we've already used 20 or so. REAL TRASH
