I wish I had listened to some other product reviews before purchasing. In my opinion, I don't understand how one person can assemble this alone, and there are certain problems with the product. Here are the problems. Holes for inserting screws in all shelves and crossbars are too small. It takes very good muscles to turn screws and it is difficult to keep the parts in the right position while trying to turn a screw with force. There are splitting problems in some parts of the tree. You can see it in the picture and it's not the piece you assemble... it's the side piece that the dowels come pre-assembled to. There were also some minor separation issues when we assembled the shelf. A little superglue in strategic places should prevent further tearing. It requires 16 screws and they don't add any extras. One screw was defective so that it cannot be screwed in completely flush. No verbal explanations with directions... just pictures. And some of the part orientations are wrong in the diagrams. Small but problematic when trying to get it "just right". We managed to fully assemble it and I like its size. It fits where I wanted. I will never buy from this company again as they have very poor quality control.
