Glad I bought this lens. This is an inexpensive fish eye that does a pretty good job. It's not the sharpest lens and there is some chromatic aberration, but for 1/3 the price of a Nikkor lens it was worth it. Over time the lens started to wobble a bit, the mount was really capable of separating from the rest of the lens. I didn't really know what was wrong with it until I noticed that the screws holding the mount to the rest of the lens were loose. I re-tightened them with a small Phillips screwdriver and everything is better now. Potential buyers should be aware that this is a non-CPU lens, meaning the camera won't even realize the lens is attached. You can only shoot in full manual mode, and the camera's built-in metering doesn't work. Everything is manual. I like to keep my histogram up so I can quickly check the exposure and adjust accordingly. In addition, the hood may rotate somewhat over time when carried and impacted. You just have to rotate it a little to appear in your shots. I drew a line along the seam between the hood and the rest of the lens so I can easily see if it's in the right position or not. Edit: These images have been retouched; In response to another user's question, I've included a picture straight from the camera.
