I'm not a technology grandma. I have very little experience opening up a computer and changing things. But I didn't want to pay for my fans to change. And I'm all about saving a dollar and trying to do things myself. One day I opened the computer case and looked closely at the wiring - I thought "I can do this". Two were very easy to change, the third must have been a bit of a hassle as it was harder to reach. Once you have access, they basically connect and work. The kit includes new screws for the fans. I like the red LED. 3 packs is what I need and the price is great.
