Performance as stated (probably not tested). If you have ever had the experience of buying lamps then at some point you have bought something and when you tried it you realized that it was nowhere near what it was advertised. With these, as soon as I tried them I thought wow, that's a bright light. They are smaller than I expected. But that's only because I didn't pay attention to their description/properties. Photos are likely close-up to show detail and not to scale. I bought these to use in my garage as a work light under my car. They can be placed on the floor and adjusted to provide light where it is needed and are always bright enough to illuminate the desired area. But they are too small and prone to banging and are easily banged out of the desired position. So I'll probably buy something else for that purpose. I am however very happy with this purchase and will likely reuse them as emergency lighting around the house in the event of a power outage. In fact, I'll probably buy a few more to stash in my work truck since they're so small and won't take up much space.
