Review on Nature-Inspired Knitting: 39 Designs Inspired by Patterns in Nature by Carla Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Aesthetically one of the most beautiful knitting books

I've been a fan of Nora Gaugan for a while and have often admired her patterns in various knitting magazines. When I saw that she had written a book, I did something I rarely do. I ordered it without seeing the eye hoping it would be interesting and maybe inspire me to try something new. Well, not only was I inspired to knit, but also to get outside, look around and admire nature. When I first opened it, the book literally took my breath away. The designs are amazing and each design is so beautifully photographed that I watched it over and over again. " I can't wait to try my first project. I should mention that some of the recommended threads are expensive. For those of you looking for more than just another simple pattern book, wanting some inspiration; this is a book to buy.

Pros
  • Absolutely stunning!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
