Unusual uses best in lightbulbs

I have a salt lamp. I've tried several colored bulbs in it and I like the red ones best so I bought a supply of these. I leave it in my bedroom 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and love the soft sheen. I've added an image that gives you an idea but doesn't really justify it. There's no crisp white light in the center, but it's impossible to shoot without it. The lamp in it will work for about a year next month. I would like an LED bulb but they are too wide and long for the bulb hole and the small LED bulbs are too dim for my taste.
