I bought these to put in my salt lamps which I keep next to my computer to offset the blue light from the screen. They give pink salt lamps a deep, rich red light which I find most comforting - I hope it makes me healthier. I've used 3 of these in 3 salt lamps for about 6 hours a day for 2 months and still haven't burned out so they have a decent lifespan. Recommend them!

I have a salt lamp. I've tried several colored bulbs in it and I like the red ones best so I bought a supply of these. I leave it in my bedroom 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and love the soft sheen. I've added an image that gives you an idea but doesn't really justify it. There's no crisp white light in the center, but it's impossible to shoot without it.
