I really wanted to like it, but

Unfortunately, I received a broken stick because the ink was very dry after ONE use. The project I made was a set of 8 cards that had a small image applied to them about 3/4" x 3/4" so it's not a big stamp / definitely doesn't need a lot of ink. Initially there were no issues with the embossing, the ink was nice, crisp, pure black. However, less than a month later, I picked up this notebook to make another set of cards and was disappointed to find that the entire notebook had dried badly and the ink came out very blotchy! The stamped images were nowhere near the quality they were previously stamped to and looked really faded and blotchy. I bought a Ranger Re-Ink bottle to try and store the ink pad for a few more uses, but I'll probably look for a different brand once I'm done with the bottle. recommended and popular product among artisan blogs, youtube channels and personal recommendations from artisan/cartoon friends :( Very disappointing.

Pros
  • EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS. Stamping with archival jet black ink gives you a crisp, vibrant image that will not bleed or smudge when applied with watercolor, water-based inks, markers or pearlescent pigments.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
