I bought one of these tools many, many years ago and loved it. I recently lost it and since I've missed it so much I've decided it's time to buy another one. There are a lot of fakes out there but I wanted the same brand I originally had so I bought this one. From the looks of it it's now plastic instead of brass or aluminum or whatever I lost. I am very disappointed in this discovery. The product description says it's plastic, so blame yourself. I should have read the reviews. Although I intend to keep it, I am not happy with my purchase decision. It looks and feels cheap, and I expect the lace shaper legs to break at some point while bouncing around in my bag; they don't seem very strong. The product photo shows the tag I remember from my lost tip tool, but the item I received is different. See attached photo for comparison. I'm giving two stars because the quality of the plastic tool is poor.
