I had a previous version of this product in white. Great unit that had the door slamming while plugged in and electrical cords breaking so I replaced it with this newer version. the same topic. I really like how fast this product charges (remember you must use a compatible fast charge cable or an "Apple MiFi Certified" cable to take full advantage of the smart/fast charge feature), the fully charges on a Samsung Note 4 phone in about 45 minutes. I also use this for my Apple iPad and it does a great job of fast charging too. With two high-performance USB ports, I can now reduce the number of charging stations I carry around with me every day: I take my tablet cable and my phone cable, and this base station does both at the same time. simultaneously. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to combine their many charging stations into one smart charger. The chip in this base ensures that you charge your device as quickly as possible without damaging the battery. The only thing I miss is that the older version had a little blue LED to show it was getting power. Not essential, but it was a nice touch. 5 stars overall because it works on all devices as advertised. I very much agree with this product.
