Hello, I never write reviews but was hoping to save people some frustration. This should have been a good option for discounted homeowners as they say it took me hours of my life and an OEM Delta Valve to fix my leak. When I wanted to change this set the rear seal/spring/plastic part was very difficult to get out and required pliers for final removal. I didn't notice this at the time, but it was due to some mineral buildup on the front and back of the o-rings on this part. The Danco part uses different o-ring sizes and it must not have been able to sit in the same area as the OEM and the valve set was leaking 10 times more than before. Being wary of cleaning the valve body with anything and risking a complete valve replacement, I ordered a Delta, applied some silicone to slide over the scale and they snapped into place. work completed. Well, if you live in an area with no hard water, this valve would save me about $10. I spent a lot of time trying to get the Danko to stop flowing because I thought I was doing something wrong. I hope this helps someone spend the extra $10 and buy Danco Silicone Grease while you're at it!
