If you're looking for a quick and cheap alternative, this is probably your best option. If you work on your car yourself, it's still a better option than an expensive OEM finish. It doesn't change for long. Lasted 1 year before leaking again. Unless you're mechanically inclined and have to pay a shop to get the job done, spend the extra cash on an OEM valve cover. Or you pay twice for the work. I installed this valve cover in November 2019. Smelled oil again in November/December 2020. Finally drove the car into the garage in January 2021 as the smell became much stronger. The valve cover is leaking. time to replace again. Be sure to buy original screws. The screws that come with the cover are soft and wear out.
