Remotes are mostly useless
I loved the idea of remotes because then I would have climb or open things, etc to turn them off. Basically the remote works to turn them on but not off. Defeats the whole purpose imo. Batteries don't last long either. I bought ones without remotes and they seemed to last longer. I just wanted the convenience of the remote. That's why I bought these. No convience here.
