Decent case after the screen protector ripped off

Update: This case will NOT stop sliding and it's driving me crazy so I'll be returning it. This case is sturdy and seems to offer good protection for my new iPad 8. The only thing that pissed me off was the plastic screen protector - it created rainbow distortion all over the screen. I would remove the protective film, put it back in the case and fix it - not for long. I was fed up and since the case cannot be used without a screen protector frame, I just ripped the plastic off the screen protector frame. Voila. Using a case without a plastic screen protector is much preferable to me. The edges of the screen are still protected by a slight bevel and the body of the iPad is well protected by the rubberized outer shell. However, the "infinitely adjustable" portion of the stand is hit or miss. It often doesn't hold up and slides down, changing the viewing angle. But I found that the case can easily be used to support the iPad in different positions, so it's not a big deal. All in all, this seems like a good case. If anything changes I will update my review.
