First, what I didn't like. I think it's been in a warehouse somewhere (in China) for a long, long time. The wrapped plastic turned yellow. When I took it out it was so sticky I thought the black "paint" covering most of the upper was still wet. Turns out it must have been heavily oiled years ago because what I felt was an oily substance that was half-cured. It took three washes, scrubbing with dish soap to get rid of the stickiness. I was starting to think I was going to need Goo-Gone and/or mineral spirits! Now I will oil it again. It's described as having a hammer that isn't there and I have yet to figure out where the staple remover is, which is a good thing because I think it's overkill for this type of use. The tool itself isn't a highlighter - the top part is drawn a little sloppily - but it has some weight. My husband builds houses to order and I think he found it amusing. However, I've spent way too much time looking for wrenches or a hammer or a nail puller or just a tool to grab something with, so it's quite a valuable item for me in the kitchen. I think I will use it regularly. This is excellent value for money. I don't need anything heavy and my husband won't steal it as his stuff is professional quality. win/win!
