We thought we finally found the size and shape of inexpensive steak knives we were looking for. However, these knives did not have a straight blade. The sharp edge was at a different angle than the rest of the blade. It didn't cut straight. I couldn't make a piece of cheese, not even that thick! I tried using self-guided steel but the edge went back to a curved edge very quickly. You get a grated tomato by trying to poke it through the skin. It's useless. One has to be surprised when the final sharpening machines were not adjusted and that nobody from quality control checked them.
