Great for cleaning up very small clumps that form after cleaning up mess with a large hole dust pan. The only thing you need when using it is patience! Because the holes are so small, it takes time to sift through them. For me it's not critical, but for someone it can be a deciding factor. I prefer a clean box, so I'm willing to spend an extra 10 minutes eliminating tiny clumps after sifting through large clumps with a large scoop. I've had it for a few months now and it's still holding up.
