Pure garbage! This chair is not made by La-z Boy but is licensed from a company that makes chairs for several other companies. The $60 Office Depot Special is better quality than this one. If you are lucky enough to align and tighten the pieces, you will find that even with the tension relaxed, the average person's body weight will not allow the chair to tip backwards. I'm a little small for a 5'10.145 guy, but even in tall chairs I don't have to plant my feet on the floor and push to move. Even in the lowest position and sitting in the correct upright position as much as possible in the chair, my feet barely touch the floor, leaving about 3 to 4 inches between the backs of my knees and the seat cushion. The chair is tilted forward, so you never lean on the back of the chair unless you strain your shoulder blades and head back. In just a few hours, I was sitting in it, my neck stiff, and holding my head back to look straight ahead. The only positive is that the lumbar area on the back feels comfortable, as do the armrests, and the rest of the chair is terrible.
