Review on πŸš— KICKER 47KSC404 KS Series Low Profile 4 Inch 4 Ohm Coaxial Car Audio Sound System Speakers (Pair) - 15 to 75 Watts RMS Power - Factory Replacement by Austin Wolf

Easy to install, a massive upgrade from the original 27 year old Jeep soundbar. Speakers

They replaced the dingy old paper speakers in the soundbar of my 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ. These were completely ruined, with deformed paper cones and foam edges almost completely disintegrated. Compared to them, these kickers are awesome! But what I really like is that they are low RMS (15-75W) which means the original Jeep AM/FM cassette deck I have has no performance issues as it is 20W/ channel produced. I could put an amp in, but why bother when they sound so good? No, despite the product description, they do not come with grills. This wasn't a problem for me as I wanted to reuse the original grilles in the soundbar to make it look like a production version. These kicker speakers are a perfect match, their low profile size poses no problem with factory grilles and the hole spacing is perfectly matched. I didn't have to drill anything! I've attached photos to show how decent they look behind the factory bars. They come pre-assembled with speaker cables that have spade terminals as well as butt crimp connectors for connection to existing wiring. It was a bit pricey, but I didn't buy a 27-year-old Jeep because I figured rebuilding would be a cheap hobby. Overall I'm very happy with these speakers and look forward to swapping out the dashboard speakers for Kickers this weekend!
