We tested the USB-A to USB-C 3.1 GEN 2 adapter with a 2TB Sandisk SSD. It connected for a few minutes, then reconnected and reconnected. Tried it again with a different USB port, same problem. We didn't want to risk data loss, so we notified the seller and arranged to ship it back to Revain. This SSD worked great with its own USB C to USB A and USB C to USB C cables. When the product arrived it was really upset. malfunction. waste of time and money. It turned out that several reviews showed the same problem. Electop needs to implement quality control to save itself and not expose customers to risk of losing time and data.
