Not suitable for welding!

I received them on September 26, 2017. I have welding lessons on Wednesdays and Thursdays (previously SMAW and GMAW). These gloves started falling apart by the second week. It all started with the skin on the fingers of gloves (both hands). By the third week, the seam on the middle finger side of the left glove began to open up, which is the perfect opening for all that molten spatter from stick welding to get right in. In the fourth week (October 18 and 19), the seam of the finger peeled off more, the seam under the index finger on the left glove peeled off, 60% of the skin on the finger peeled off, the skin on the back of the left glove started peel to loosen. Apparently my right hand (the hand holding the Stinger & MIG gun) was safe from open stitches. All of this is less than a total of 40 hours of welding. I would not recommend these gloves for welding. The seams will NOT stand up to all that heat and movement.
