This is a great lightweight base coat. You have to look/feel very carefully to understand that the inside is actually fleece material. The texture is almost microscopic. They absorb moisture very well and are smooth on the outside, so they don't stretch too much towards outer clothing. (I have other base layers that tend to clump together due to friction.) My only complaint is the size. I'm 6ft 3in, slim but broad shouldered and tall. I ordered a large size based on the product description. The sleeves of this shirt usually reach a few inches below my wrists. Pants I also tend to go a few inches. The material is stretchy so I can temporarily pull things where I need them but they end up slipping back. In general, the quality is very good and the price is good. I've already ordered a size up (XL) so I'll be ready for my next cold-weather adventure.
