Review on Pentek FloPlus 10BB Activated Carbon Filter Cartridge by Steven Ferguson

The hot tub serves as my whole house filtration system for all water flow in the house, and a Pentek FloPlus BB20 is hooked up to a branch after the hot tub to sweeten just the kitchen and bathroom chilled faucets for drinking water use. As a "post filter" for only a small fraction of my house's total water flow, it has worked very well with the original cartridge for the past year, with no end in sight anytime soon. The water pressure in the tap is still normal. The whole installation, both Whirlpool and Pentek, work very well and had no problems last year. Whirlpool filters to 1 micron and Pentek purifies drinking water to 0.5 microns, all at a flow rate of approximately 4 gallons per minute, which perfectly meets the needs of our house. The water flow from the local municipal water supply from the street. I installed this multi-stage water filtration system because while city water is perfectly healthy, it doesn't taste or taste the best. Now the showers are very good and the drinking water tastes great. So far I have not incurred any costs for replacing or upgrading the entire system. I recently ordered another Pentek cartridge of this model to have as a spare on the shelf when the old one finally shuts up. Finally, it is predicted that after three to four years of continuous use, Whirlpool will need to replace the filter media. The item sent to me by the seller last week is not the Pentek FolPlus-20BB High Flow 0.5 micron whole house filter cartridge I ordered. I'm not sure what it is, but it doesn't look like the same filter cartridge model I'm currently using in my Pentek Big Blue 20BB filter canister and doesn't match the sizing on the manufacturer's website. It's too small in diameter and doesn't fit. Hence my bad rating for this review. I'm taking action today to get him back. I will update my rating here based on how quickly and efficiently the seller resolves my issues.
