Don't lose hope - I found a way to make the suction cups stick!

Don't lose hope just yet! I've found that when using a small amount of water on the back of 2" cups, the cups curl outward at the edges and don't provide a good grip, which is always very frustrating. After a tough week, I was determined to do these stupid suckers. I was working in my tiled shower. I cleaned the tile again to get a smooth, DRY surface. I then heated the suction cups with a hair dryer and they got really hot. I placed the first suction cup and pressed firmly for a minute so that the entire surface of the suction cup was in contact with the tile. She stayed! When these suction cups kept falling out of the plastic cart, I heated a second cup and placed it in the cart so I could line it up with the tile. the first suction cup and pressed firmly again for a minute and it holds. After 1 day I added some weight. The next day I added some more weight, still not sure if this method works. Five days later they are still holding up. Since this cart only has two small holes in the bottom for water to drain (there should be more!), I suggest tilting the cart slightly to allow the water to flow to one of the tiny drains. I hope this trick works for buyers.
