I bought this because I'm a LARGE guy (over 350 pounds). I needed a scale that I could rely on to accurately measure my weight on a regular basis. I had a scale that went to 370, but I wanted to make sure my original scale worked. This one showed 16 pounds more than the other weight. It scared me to death and motivated me to work even harder on my weight. However, my wife also stepped on the scale and was immediately annoyed. The number didn't match the Weight Watcher digital scale or our Aria (FitBit) scale. Again, that's about 16 pounds more than actual weight. I checked weight with my wife, my daughter, and a professional scale at the doctor's office. This thing is extremely wrong. I wanted to make sure it wasn't me, but this scale isn't measuring weight correctly. The only correct thing is that it seems to accurately reflect the changes, but what's the point if the race number is wrong? I am very disappointed in the product and cannot recommend it.
