Review on πŸ”© Aluminum Extrusion with Anodized Finish - Outdoor Bracket by Cody Wuol

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great boost for a 3D printer! The Z axis now appears to be welded on. LOL

I bought a set of these to mount on the Z axis of one of my desktop 3D printers. The printer originally had a T plate (in addition to the T5 bolts that go into the Z bracket on the bottom of the frame). The old T-plate was thin and actually shaped like a T (in other words, it had some metal side supports on it). Black Triangle Alien Space Alloy Bracket*1. I installed two of these using T5 socket nuts (not hammer nuts). I won't bore you with the details of the consequences. But let's put it this way: you can blow this printer out of orbit and the Z-axis will be the only thing left in the wreck. still standing perpendicular to the now evaporated frame. *1: Not sure what kind of aluminum they are made of. but I think 6061.
