I had a P0300 trouble code (misfire) on my 2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder so I replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils and that seems to have fixed everything. I didn't know how to isolate the problem to either the spark plugs or the coils or possibly a vacuum leak and replacing both at the same time requires minimal additional work. Installation is easy; I would recommend using a torque wrench when tightening the spark plugs just to be on the safe side. So far the coils are working perfectly. I bought the "blue" ENA coils, but note that the "red" ENA coils appear almost identical and are about $25 less. The Revain descriptions should make it clear if there are any notable differences that justify a significant price difference. I went with the blue coils as some reviews suggested that ENA coils could fail early and I figured the more expensive ones should last longer. If my coils fail I will update the review. Also, at least on my car, the coils aren't visible when you open the trunk, so the color doesn't really matter.
