I use these with screws and nylon washers because my Galaxy 979 isn't that wide. This knot is better than factory mounts. They don't flex so your soundbar won't come loose inside. I've been using these for about 10 years. I now have 4 of these. I recommend saving nylon standoffs and screws if your radio is smaller. It fits Galaxy 959, but Cobra 29 and Galaxy 979 (same width chassis) need spacers. With their help, my radios stay in the right position.
