Good mount for heavy duty use. Suitable for large radios of all brands. The only downside is that the black paint has peeled off in the corners, but nobody will see that anyway.

This mount is perfect for the Galaxy DX98vhp. I have a 20 cascadia and this mount fits on the dash over AM/FM. Drilled a few mounting holes with good quality fasteners and lock washers, installed and secured. No hesitation, the radio is solid and you have plenty of room at the bottom for fans on the radio. The bracket holds my radio and gauge with no problems. I'll add photos after the holidays.

I use these with screws and nylon washers because my Galaxy 979 isn't that wide. This knot is better than factory mounts. They don't flex so your soundbar won't come loose inside. I've been using these for about 10 years. I now have 4 of these. I recommend saving nylon standoffs and screws if your radio is smaller. It fits Galaxy 959, but Cobra 29 and Galaxy 979 (same width chassis) need spacers. With their help, my radios stay in the right position.
