Bought to replace the fill valve that leaked into the tank. Our house was built 11 years ago and we have lived here for 9 years. This replacement was easy to install and seems to fill the tank reasonably well and shut off the flow properly. Although I have complaints about this. There is a filter at the top of the inflation valve that prevents small dirt particles from entering through the valve. The problem I've had (three times already) is that when those tiny bits of dirt are caught by the filter, the valve gets stuck in the open position and water keeps flowing. tank, unscrew the valve assembly, use a knife or pick to remove the contamination, then reassemble the valve. Not difficult, but nothing I've had to do with previous fill valves in this house in the last 9 years. Doing this three times in the two and a half months since installing this valve is not ideal.
