They don't stay in place
Be careful when using on a surfboard. They are too flexible and make the board bounce in the wind. Also, they rotate too easily on the post and slide forward or backward. The velcro also doesn't have enough overlap to prevent slipping. I just went back to put the paddleboard right on top of the roof rack.
