Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Foxwell GT65: All System Diagnostic Scanner with Bi-Directional Test & Key Programming by Chris Beals

Cheaper alternative with the same functionality.

I've retired from owning and operating a European auto shop but I still do some diagnostic work for my exotic car friends that they don't want to give away to someone else. I have used high end products from Autel, Snap-On, Launch as well as factory systems like the T4. The first thing to note about these tools is that the features may change depending on the vehicle model. Some have to read this several times. It can do with one type of car what cannot be done with another. This is true of any branded diagnostic system as long as you don't fall in the $10,000 range if you buy all the software you need to be comprehensive. I had no problems with it the first few times I tried it, even using it on slightly unusual cars. The GUI isn't the most intuitive I've used, but I think most people won't have any trouble navigating the screens after using it a few times. It has some strengths and weaknesses in the UI compared to others, but overall I'd say it's okay. it depends on what you're used to. I've owned and tried dozens of diagnostic systems and this one seems to do just as much as other companies' more expensive systems but for a few hundred dollars less. Foxwell has stood the test of time, and not just any "Nameless" like many others. I would trust that as well as my Autel system which says a lot as I prefer Autel to many more expensive ones.
