Good filter in parts

My 2014 Mercedes E class started to 'smell' when the air conditioning was on. I bought this filter and a can of Kool-It to clean the evaporator coil. This was a fairly simple task that solved my problem, but I'm sure it needs to be done on a regular basis. The MB forms state that this is a $250.00-$300.00 service at an MB dealer.
