Review on 🐟 EHEIM Everyday Fish Feeder: Programmable Automatic Food Dispenser for Effortless Feeding by Colleen Bolden

Revainrating 3 out of 5

User intervention required

I used this during a week's holiday to feed my betas and guppies. As others have pointed out, you need to add tape to the dispenser to resize the microbeads and let it run for a week to track progress and make adjustments. And unless you have a large open top in your tank, you'll find pellets strewn all over the lid and maybe 25% of the amount dispensed will end up in the tank. A lot of adjustment is needed here before you can walk away and trust live fish to come home. I gave the battery life a 5 star rating because it lasted a week. This isn't Ron Popeil's "Set It and Forget It" device designed to get you to live the Jetson life. Also, it works as it should and contrary to some other comments, it's very easy to edit the timer function with your feeding program. To be honest I don't know what others find difficult about this simple process which is clearly broken down into 3 easy steps with labeled and color coded charts. Maybe it's a generation thing. If you're like my parents and still can't figure out how to set up a flashing microwave clock, then you're going to have to work really hard to get this setup right. Just have your little grandson set it up or pay him to feed your fish.

Pros

Cons
