Review on TORCHSTAR Daylight Non-Dimmable Bathroom Dressing Light by Jill Ellis

I thought the hygrometer wouldn't work, but there's a trick

I liked everything else about the watch (I have two of them), the quiet running and the thermometer, but the hygrometer was always annoying and gave 60 % on a device, so I thought it was broken. Then I moved the clock and now the hygrometer works. It turns out he's sucking air through a small hole on the back of the watch. Hanging the clock so that the black plastic backing is flush with the wall prevents air from entering and exiting, giving you a view of the humidity level inside the clock. The temperature sensor has the same problem, but it's not as noticeable as the temperature of the watch eventually catches up with the temperature of the rest of the room. Solution: Tape a cotton swab to the back of the clock to keep it from hanging down. close to the wall. Air enters and exits through the holes, and the moisture meter works. It's still not the most accurate hygrometer out there. Even with two side by side and comparing them with a small digital hygrometer, all three will have different readings (within about 10% or so), but it's still kind of useful. It's worth knowing if your plants need special care or if you should make a note to drink more water on any given day.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So far so good
