I'm new to binoculars, monoculars and spotting scopes and wanted to switch from just basic binoculars to something we can use to get a better view of all the birds, ducks etc in our garden. Going from cheap binoculars to a Gosky HD spotting scope might seem like a big leap, but WOW! The difference is worth it. AFTER RESEARCH - CHOOSE GOSKY: After many hours of research I decided to narrow down the choices to a few brands. and decided that Gosky had a good range of products and was rated very well - not only in Revain reviews but also in several online review articles. and other) binoculars are available, I chose this HD oscilloscope. I'd rather pay a little more for higher quality now than pay less and get a mediocre image. Isn't the most important feature of a scope to have a great view of what you're seeing? 20x-60x ZOOM: I thought this would be overkill for backyard surveillance, but it's actually perfect. I can easily switch from watching the bird feeders to climbing up and seeing what's in the trees. As this is my first spotting scope I would say it has a very intuitive design. It feels solid and precise when I move the knobs. Lens cap (essential), a carrying case (smooth, padded) and comes with a tabletop tripod (which is much better quality than what I've gotten with other camera purchases). Also, I had a question I sent them and Gosky support emailed me back the same day. and nice to hold. And I think it would be nice to have a full size tripod so I can use it outdoors / look at the moon etc. Overall: very happy with this purchase and will be looking for other Gosky items in the future!
