I broke my old original FSA Comet crankset (the spider is kind of torn) so I needed a cheap replacement fast. This rod has been delivered. Although it was 5 mils shorter than my old crank, it worked great and I didn't notice much of a difference other than slightly faster pedal travel. It's easy to install as it fits my old bottom bracket perfectly. It actually comes with a bottom bracket as well, but since mine didn't break I didn't bother to get a new one. Also, it's a crank and it does what it's supposed to. The lever attaches to the crank's thru-axle with two hex head screws, so you don't need any crazy tools to install it. The only "cheap" part is the end cap, which is plastic, but the cap serves no purpose other than sealing the through hole from debris, so the plastic is fine. I've actually trained this crank (along with typical MTB trail rides) and it holds up amazingly. I'm honestly a bit surprised as I had much lower expectations.
