Good option for carb issues and fairly easy to install

I have used this new carb on a Ford 9N and it seems to have improved tractor performance but needs some tweaking to ensure it is correct . The threaded gas fitting did not have enough thread depth to accommodate the brass fitting and had to be screwed in. The previous carburetor I removed was misadjusted: the holes in the injectors on the wrong sized internals were preventing the engine from running properly. Although my previous carb was labeled as the exact same product, it was slightly different on the inside. This one seems to have got me working without the jumps I had. If you're having trouble with any of the replacement parts you're using, I suggest looking at the hole size on the nozzles inside to make sure they match your tractor's specs. I'm not an expert on carburetors, but it seems that some of these carburetors are made with the wrong size jet that lets in too much gas or air. They make hole gauges to ensure your small brass screw in jet fittings has the correct hole size. If you have mid-range gas bursts, you may have this problem. Rather than looking at a tractor in the shop this carb was a cheap enough option to rule out other issues and it seemed to work at the time but I have yet to check attachments and such.
